Our 2nd stay at great Cockleshell apt. We love it here, as it is such a welcoming and relaxing flat. We love it... Well equipped and comfortable, couldn't fault it in any way. We had to take our cat with us at the last minute, and the owner Mandy, a lovely lady, was very welcoming and helpful
Lovely Victorian ApartmentCockleshell is a lovely apartment , situated only 5 mins walk to the nearest beach , and only 10 to 15 mins walk to Scarborough seafront. It is set on a lovely quiet avenue , with ample free street parking outside the apartment. The whole Scarborough/Filey/Whitby/N York Moors area is beautiful . You must get out and explore
A doggy holiday. We needed a break with our little poodle whose getting on a bit and isn't keen on walking too far these days. The location is superb, couldn't have been better. We were very close to the town and the lift down to the bay and the beach. The apartment is in need of some TLC, and needs to be a bit cleaner. The furniture is ok and there are plenty of throws for the pets, although I think most people take their own. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen area is tiny but adequate with enough equipment and plenty of cleaning supplies. On the whole the holiday was very good but the apartment could be made much more inviting

Quiet and comfortable. Good accommodation. Handy for Esplanade. Bed very comfortable. Nice quiet location and very reasonably priced. Not much of a problem parking. Mandy very helpful. Although kitchen small still very adequate. Very good stay
Scarborough is an all year round destination, with its busy fishing harbour and marina a hub of excitement whatever the weather. Scarborough Castle is set in a stunning location and offers visitors panoramic views over the dramatic coastline. The 2,500-year old building is a must see for anyone visiting the area, and a wonderful day out for everyone.
There's so much to see and do during the day in this lovely seaside town, but also plenty of places to relax and unwind in the evening, including many bars and eateries along the seafront
