Hillside is a lovely large family house with a mature enclosed garden and off-street parking in Sandsend, one of the most popular seaside villages on the Yorkshire Coast. The property is situated in an elevated position and has lovely sea views from the house and garden, where, ideally positioned, is some wooden decking with outside seating. The house is spacious, comfortable and well presented. Sandsend is a charming seaside village, located only two miles from Whitby. It has a beautiful sandy beach, golf course, shops, pubs and a restaurant.

Lounge: TV with Freeview and DVD player, open fire
Kitchen/Dining Area:
Fridge freezer, gas range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, large dining table and chairs, door leading out to the garden.

Downstairs Toilet: with washbasin and tumble dryer.

Bedroom 1: Double bed, chest of drawers, daybed, storage cupboard with some hanging space, en suite shower room.
Shower room: Shower, toilet and washbasin.
Bedroom 2: Single bed, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe.

Bedroom 4: Full size bunk beds, chest of drawers, hanging space.

Parking: Private off-road parking for two cars and possibility of on-street parking for a third car.

I loved using the aga as I had never used one before but could have done with a few tips on which pans to use, timings etc. Excellent facilities, including an aga. Area Information

Sandsend
Sandsend, one of North Yorkshire's prettiest coastal villages, is set at the foot of Lythe Bank and only a two mile beach walk away from Whitby. Pretty holiday cottages and houses are set in the stunning cliff backdrop. Beneath them is the award-winning beach, with streams leading to the sea, perfect for children to have a splash in or feed the ducks. Alternatively a walk in the neighbouring woodlands or along the cliffs is equally as charming. Originally Sandsend was two separate villages, each formed along its own beck, it now stands as one united village. There are interesting shops, an award-winning restaurant, cafes, pubs and an art gallery. With beautiful views of the coastline and its famous historic neighbour, Whitby, it is a truly magical place.
