Description
Welcome to Harebell, an elegant and traditional stone built cottage with three bedrooms and plenty of luxurious finishing touches. Set in a tranquil and serene location in the pretty seaside village of Sandsend, this delightful cottage is pet friendly and is the perfect setting for a special gathering. During the daytime you can take the picturesque three mile walk along the beach to the seaside town of Whitby. Or stay close by and enjoy the glorious sandy beach and stream at Sandsend, which is great for families. The nearby walk through the pretty sheltered woodland of Mulgrave Woods to the Old Castle is a lovely way to work up an appetite before lunch. There are plenty of places to eat in the village with a number of tea rooms and a local village store for essentials. Bridge Cottage Bistro and Estbeck House are a must visit for food lovers and the local pub The Hart Inn has a popular beer garden for when the sun is shining. Harebell's open plan living area downstairs provides the perfect space to gather with family or friends to cook up a feast and incorporates quality appliances including a combi double oven, pod coffee machine and beautiful Emma Bridgewater crockery. In the lounge area, cosy and comfortable furnishings along with the latest technologies such as a Smart TV with Freesat and game station make this the perfect retreat to relax in after a day out and about exploring. The wood burning stove is perfect for curling up next to with a glass of wine or on sunny days step out into the garden and patio complete with gas barbecue and watch the sun set over the Valley. On the first floor Harebell has two comfortable and welcoming bedrooms, each with views over the beautiful valley and further up on the next floor is the spacious master bedroom with super king size bed and it's own en suite bathroom with bath and walk-in rainfall shower. If you need more space you can book Harebell in conjunction with the neighbouring property Foxglove which accommodates six (WA063)

Sandsend
Sandsend, one of North Yorkshire's prettiest coastal villages, is set at the foot of Lythe Bank and only a two mile beach walk away from Whitby. Pretty holiday cottages and houses are set in the stunning cliff backdrop. Beneath them is the award-winning beach, with streams leading to the sea, perfect for children to have a splash in or feed the ducks. Alternatively a walk in the neighbouring woodlands or along the cliffs is equally as charming. Originally Sandsend was two separate villages, each formed along its own beck, it now stands as one united village. There are interesting shops, an award-winning restaurant, cafes, pubs and an art gallery. With beautiful views of the coastline and its famous historic neighbour, Whitby, it is a truly magical place.
