Very well looked after Property

mr S W,

Excellent in all ways. Couldn't have asked for better.

Mrs June M,

Very peaceful to come back to after a day out.

Mr Steven P,

The Byre in Ruswarp is a beautiful property located close to the river Esk. A real home from home with beautiful views across the countryside. Would definitely book again. Ingrid Flute cottages certainly made the booking process extremely easy.

Mrs Julie C,

The Byre, between Ruswarp and Brigswath is an excellent base for couples who like to get out and about in the Whitby area.

Graham W,

We loved staying here, it's in a beautiful situation, very comfortable and well cared-for, and we had a warm welcome from Carole. We will certainly look to stay here again next time we take a break in this area.

Ms Sarah W,

Area Information

Ruswarp is a picturesque village located just less than two miles away from Whitby and along the river Esk. There is a train station which passes through the village going to Pickering or Middlesbrough. The village has many attractions and activities for the family to enjoy. You can row your way down the River Esk in a rowing boat which are available for hire. There is a soft play area called Mini Monsters for the children and a farm park with a variety of farm animals as well as a miniature railway for children to enjoy. Alternatively if you fancy a walk there are many nice routes including The Monks Trod footpath leading to Whitby or routes to the neighbouring village of Sleights.
