Enjoy a unique and romantic stay in a cosy converted farm building. This one bedroomed property is one of a group set in a courtyard style layout, offering stunning views of the rolling hills and towards the sea in Whitby. Located in a quiet and private hillside location above the small village of Ruswarp. Close to the River Esk and short walk to a pub and is on the doorstep of the North York Moors. Ruswarp has a riverside tea gardens, mini golf course, miniature railway and boats are for hire. Only 2 miles from Whitby's hot spots, shops, bars and bistros. Parking available.

The Cottage is entered from the courtyard area:

Lounge/Kitchen/Diner:  2 comfortable sofas, stone fire place with electric coal effect fire. TV with Freesat and DVD player. Pine Dresser with books and games, CD/ radio. Coffee table. Dining table and chairs.Gas hob and electric oven. Fridge with freezer box, microwave, and radio. Views towards Whitby Abbey.
Hallway leading to:
Shower over bath, washbasin, toilet and mirrored cabinet. Storage cupboard, with hoover, mop and bucket.
Bedroom 1: Double bed, wardrobe with drawers, full length mirror. Countryside views.

Pets: Sorry, no pets.
Parking: Parking for one car.
Garden / Patio: Large shared  lawned areas and a sheltered courtyard with a seat.
Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times.
Heating: Gas central heating. Electric fire.
Notes: Please bring your own towels. Sorry not suitable for children. The access to the property includes a steep unmade country lane for 1/3rd of a mile therefore the cottage may not be suitable for people with restricted mobility. WiFi is not available. No smoking at this property. Mobile phone signal is variable.

Area Information

Ruswarp is a picturesque village located just less than two miles away from Whitby and along the river Esk. There is a train station which passes through the village going to Pickering or Middlesbrough. The village has many attractions and activities for the family to enjoy. You can row your way down the River Esk in a rowing boat which are available for hire. There is a soft play area called Mini Monsters for the children and a farm park with a variety of farm animals as well as a miniature railway for children to enjoy. Alternatively if you fancy a walk there are many nice routes including The Monks Trod footpath leading to Whitby or routes to the neighbouring village of Sleights.
