Runswick Bay
This picture perfect seaside village is like the cover of a postcard. The quaint village is located around five miles from Whitby. Pretty cottages and houses line the hills and cliffs around the bay. The special and secluded beach is set at the bottom of a steep hill and offers a tranquil and peaceful location for holiday makers, as well as being a popular hot spot for artists and photographers. The bay has an exclusive feel and is perfect for couples wanting to enjoy a romantic walk on the beach; alternatively it is an ideal location for a quiet family holiday. With a pub and cafe it has every ingredient to make the perfect holiday destination.

Reviews

Lovely cottage. Great location as very quiet but close to amenities - pub just two minutes walk, beach three minutes walk and village shop about ten minutes walk. There is a gorgeous bakery about two minutes walk away. Bread and cakes are to die for :)

Mrs Samantha W,

We absolutely loved Runswick bay, it's a stunning location, the property was well equipped with plenty of room for 4 adults and a dog, we would definitely stay here again.

Mr Martin H,

Fairleigh is a fantastic place to stay: quiet, close to the beach, with a lovely large garden. The house was really well equipped for us as a family with 2 young children, and we had a wonderful stay.

Dr Caroline S,

Fairleigh was conveniently situated for us, spacious, comfortable and very well furnished. It was good value for money and in a lovely area. We were lucky to get wall to wall sunshine and North Yorkshire was a picture.

Mrs Mandy S,
