Description
Fieldside is your quintessential one up one down chocolate box cottage with a private enclosed south facing garden, tucked away in the old village and only two minutes from the beach. Fieldside is grade II listed and has been recently renovated to a very high standard retaining the old features including exposed beams, original stripped floorboards and open stone and brick walls. This is complemented by feature reclaimed ships lighting and modern lighting, all dimmable to create the right ambience.
There are a few steps down to the property.
GROUND FLOOR:
Lounge: TV with Freesat and DVD & Bluetooth speaker. Open fire in feature fireplace, hand painted leather sofa, oak folding table, oak flooring and beamed ceiling. Dimmable original ships lighting.
Kitchen: Open plan bespoke fitted kitchen with handmade doors and beautiful reclaimed slate worktops, fridge with ice box, gas hob, electric oven and microwave. Dimmable spot lighting and feature under unit lighting.
FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: Double feature pine bedstead, bedside tables and beamed ceiling, open to the eaves. Original stripped floorboards and exposed feature brick wall. Antique pine chest of drawers and hanging space. TV with Freesat.
En-suite: Shower, toilet, washbasin.
Pets: One large or two small dogs welcome.
Parking: A parking permit for the Council car parks is provided.
Garden: Enclosed private garden, lit with reclaimed ships lighting, with bench, patio table and chairs, chiminea and barbecue.
Heating: Gas central heating. Open fire in lounge.
Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times.
Notes: Towels are provided. There are a few steps down to the property. As this is an older property the stairs to the first floor are fairly steep. No infants. Free unlimited WiFi is available. No smoking at this property. Mobile phone signal is variable.

Located five miles south of Whitby and 15 miles north of Scarborough, it is the perfect place for a self-catering holiday. It boasts a stunning beach at the foot of the bay which provides a paradise for family fun. Children will be entertained with plenty of rock pools to splash in and fossils to hunt, while adults can take in the breathtaking views of the cliffs which tell the enchanting history of the place.
