Robin Hood's Bay cottages

One of the jewels in the crown of the Yorkshire coastline is the small fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay. Located five miles south of Whitby and 15 miles north of Scarborough, it's the perfect place for a self-catering holiday if you want to be surrounded by Yorkshire character. Steeped in history, this quaint village, with its fisherman's cottages that cling to the hillside and winding cobbled streets, is dotted with cafes, pubs and shops so there's always something to enjoy when you stay in one of our cottages in Robin Hood's Bay.

Located along the Cleveland Way National Trail our Robin Hood's Bay cottages have easy access to the stunning coastal path between Whitby and Scarborough. If you're feeling less energetic there is a bus service from the top of the hill between the towns. Both of these resorts offer a wide choice of places to visit, from the Captain Cook Museum and abbey in Whitby to the Sea Life Centre and Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough. There is a good shopping centre in Scarborough and lovely individual shops in the old town area of Whitby. Both provide a great choice of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms.
