Set out in the picturesque North York Moors, Peverill Cottage is ideal for walking and cycling holidays and is pet friendly. The cottage has lots of character and some traditional features such as original beams, floor tiles and fireplaces. On the ground floor there is a good size kitchen/diner with a solid wood dining table, where you can sit together and enjoy a lovely meal and a chat; and a cosy lounge ideal to unwind and relax with a glass of wine after a busy day out. Upstairs there are two pleasant double bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with twin beds.

The cottage is situated in the centre of the charming village of Moorsholm, surrounded by beautiful countryside, and there are some lovely views from the cottage. Outside there is a large garden set to lawn and private parking. The area is popular with walkers and cyclists and offers attractive routes and places to visit. The pretty market town of Guisborough and the popular seaside resorts of Saltburn and Whitby are just an easy drive away. With two double bedrooms, a large enclosed garden the property is a great choice for families and couples.

Area Information

This quaint little village lies a short 5 mile drive away from Saltburn-by-the-Sea between the North Yorkshire coast and the North York Moors. The towns of Guisborough and Whitby are also close by. Surrounded by picturesque moorland with beautiful walks and cycle routes; plus pretty coastal villages with sandy beaches, tea rooms and ice cream huts, there is a perfect mix of attractions located nearby to keep you entertained on your holiday here.

Steeped in history, Saltburn has maintained much of its original character and charm as a Victorian Seaside resort. The long stretch of beach has a traditional seaside pier. Have a stroll in the Italian gardens or for the more serious walker the popular Cleveland Way National Trail is right on your doorstep. Saltburn also boasts the oldest water balanced tramway in Britain that is still in operation. The town itself has a selection of cafes, restaurants and independent shops. All this makes Saltburn the ideal base for you to explore the North York Moors and towns beyond.
