Fab stay. Very comfy
Thank you for a lovely week with good sunny weather. Enjoyed trips locally to Saltburn, Redcar, Whitby & Skinningrove. Hope to come again
Thank you for a fantastic stay, very lovely house. Visited Runswick Bay and had a lovely trip from Whitby to Goathland on the steam railway. Walk on the moors from Danby very lovely.
Lovely house, welcome pack was a nice touch & used. Everything you need in the property. Great base for expecting. Got bus to Whitby (really easy to do). Visited Staithes & Saltburn too, great places. Going home to redecorate
Great base to explore fabulous countryside and coast, from the extensive and beautiful beachs at nearby Skinnygrove, the coastal Cleveland Way path to the North Yorkshire Moors (complete with steam railway!) Also Loftus is well provided with shops, friendly people, and a great micro bar - Mad Alice's. The house its self is beautifully curated, with thoughtful touches everywhere that make it easy to relax.
We enjoyed our stay. House is lovely and very comfortable. Great, walks, fantastic beaches and friendly gin bar. Thanks
Lying between the North York Moors National Park and the bustling seaside resort of Saltburn-on-Sea with its Victorian pier, cliff lift, and gardens, the small town of Loftus provides the perfect base for exploring the best of town and country. Here you are within easy reach of the attractions of the Yorkshire Coast. The quirky and quaint seaside port of Staithes is under 5 miles away where you will find a mix of local, independent shops, tea rooms and pubs serving fresh local food lining the ancient cobbled streets as well as a sandy beach and annual arts and heritage festival which draws visitors from far and wide. Head down into the North York Moors to be delighted by the seemingly never-ending carpet of beautiful purple heather, with rolling hills and sweeping valleys stretching for as far as the eye can see. This proximity to stunning coastal and countryside landscapes makes Loftus the ideal location for walkers and families looking to take in the fresh air and thrills this part of Yorkshire has to offer while also remaining within easy reach of the larger towns such as Whitby, Guisborough (with its Priory and Forest) and the city of Middlesborough.
