Description

Offering the ideal base for exploring the vast and beautiful Yorkshire Coast and North Yorks Moors National Park, Artist House is an exquisitely presented three bedroom terrace house. It has been lovingly and uniquely furnished and decorated to a high standard by the owner, who is an artist. She has taken great care in providing quality furnishings and fittings with a design flair, as well as stunning and original artwork.
After a busy day out and about walking and exploring the area, the light and airy open plan living room downstairs offers a comfortable place to relax amongst contemporary and modern décor. From the dining room, you can step out onto the enclosed patio and enjoy a drink al fresco and upstairs each bedroom has been luxuriously furnished to add to the comfort of your stay.
Artist House boasts country views and is very close to the Cleveland Way and the Moors for those that love to enjoy long walks in nature. The sandy beach of Skinningrove is only 20 minutes walk away and the popular seaside destinations of Saltburn, Whitby, Staithes and Runswick Bay are just a short drive or bus ride from the house.

Thank you for a fantastic stay, very lovely house. Visited Runswick Bay and had a lovely trip from Whitby to Goathland on the steam railway. Walk on the moors from Danby very lovely.

Great base to explore fabulous countryside and coast, from the extensive and beautiful beachs at nearby Skinnygrove, the coastal Cleveland Way path to the North Yorkshire Moors (complete with steam railway!) Also Loftus is well provided with shops, friendly people, and a great micro bar - Mad Alice's. The house its self is beautifully curated, with thoughtful touches everywhere that make it easy to relax.

Loftus
Lying between the North York Moors National Park and the bustling seaside resort of Saltburn-on-Sea with its Victorian pier, cliff lift, and gardens, the small town of Loftus provides the perfect base for exploring the best of town and country. Here you are within easy reach of the attractions of the Yorkshire Coast.
