Amazing, more that I expected.
Lovely warm cottage and in walking distance to all amenities and Runswick bay.Nothing too much trouble for Laura and David excellent hosts who own the cottages.
This property is stunning and perfect for a break in the beautiful area of Hinderwell. We were made to feel so welcome and after only one weekend it felt like home from home. The area is great for walking, cycling, visiting local towns like Whitby etc and the owners are willing to give you information on how to get to pretty much everything. It was absolutlly delightful to stay somewhere that is so beautiful yet still allows you to take pets. Our dog loved exploring the gardens. Thank you for a perfect stay and do not be surprised if you see us again!
A wonderful holiday home in a good location with easy access to both the coast and the moors. Friendly hosts, David and Laura, who had thought of absolutely everything you needed. Extra touches of flowers and welcome pack of breakfast essentials.
Hinderwell is a small village between Runswick Bay and Staithes. The village has a great amount of community spirit and residents take part in an annual scarecrow competition which makes for family fun viewing as the creations line villager's gardens and businesses. There are many amenities including a butcher, a post office, church, a village hall, fish and chip shop, two inns and tennis courts . Hinderwell is an ideal base for walking holidays as it close to many coastal walking routes. Situated on the A174, it is ideal for those wanting to visit Whitby using the regular bus service. This avoids you paying to park in Whitby's busy car parks.
