Florence Cottage is a charming stone built cottage located in a quiet lane in the village of Hinderwell. Just 1.5 miles from the coast and 9 miles from Whitby, the property is ideally situated for exploring and enjoying all this area has to offer.
The cottage has been furnished and decorated to a high standard and provides comfortable accommodation and a patio area that is perfect for enjoying an al fresco meal. With a separate sitting area upstairs, Smart TVs and WiFi, this is a great property for couples and families who are looking for a bit of extra space and up-to-date facilities. This cottage is particularly suitable for walkers, cyclists and people bringing dogs - the handy utility room has plenty of space for outdoor/activity gear and bikes and is perfect for washing bikes or the dog (!) after a day exploring the nearby moors and coast.

Separate Utility Room: Accessed from the patio, the utility room contains the washing machine, Belfast sink and a freezer. There is room to store a couple of bikes in here as well as walking boots and other outdoor gear, and water supply for cleaning bikes and dogs.
Bedroom 1: Double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table, radio.
Bathroom: Bath with shower over, toilet and washbasin. Airing cupboard with drying space and a hanging rail.
Sitting Area: Sofa, coffee table, two chests of drawers and Smart TV.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds and wardrobe.
Pets: Two dogs welcome (bowls provided).
Parking: Allocated parking space at the school car park one minutes' walk away.
Heating: Gas central heating, electric stove in lounge, additional electric radiator in double bedroom.
Garden: Enclosed patio to the front with garden furniture.
Short breaks: Accepted at any time.
Notes: Towels are provided. Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. The property is approached via a few stone steps. The stairs to the second floor are quite steep so this property may not be suitable for people with limited mobility or young children. High chair, travel cot and stairgate available on request. Excellent property in lovely location, nice and quiet Would recommend both Yorkshire Holiday Cottages and in particular Florence Cottage, the standard was excellent and the lovely touches left for arrival were greatly appreciated. The location of this cottage is great for touring the are from Saltburn to Scarborough. Beaches and very good walks. Hinderwell is a small village between Runswick Bay and Staithes. The village has a great amount of community spirit and residents take part in an annual scarecrow competition which makes for family fun viewing as the creations line villager's gardens and businesses. There are many amenities including a butcher, a post office, church, a village hall, fish and chip shop, two inns and tennis courts . Hinderwell is an ideal base for walking holidays as it close to many coastal walking routes. Situated on the A174, it is ideal for those wanting to visit Whitby using the regular bus service. This avoids you paying to park in Whitby's busy car parks.
