Applegarth Farm is a traditional farmhouse and has all the charm that its history conveys from beamed ceilings to deep windowsills and its large garden looking out over the fields with cows grazing and birdsong. Applegarth Farm is a cosy and luxuriously designed cottage which has the advantage of a more contemporary interior with its stone exterior. The beamed living room has a cosy woodburner and views of the pretty garden. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal from some lovely local ingredients. Applegarth Farm boasts a super well-equipped kitchen leading to the patio and garden beyond, three restful bedrooms all individually designed and just right for relaxing before setting out to explore this most beautiful of areas. You will find a very pretty bathroom This lovely cottage would make an ideal retreat for families and friends to enjoy the Yorkshire Coast. Whitby is close by with its famous Abbey, links to Bram Stoker and the best fish and chips you will find anywhere. Take a tour on a boat, Whale watch in season or go fossil hunting on the beaches. You are spoilt for choice in this area of Yorkshire. Whatever your interests there is something for everyone, historic castles, even older abbeys, museums, farms, walking, cycling for Tour De Yorkshire enthusiasts, superb local markets with the very best Yorkshire produce and of course restaurants and tea rooms too numerous to mention.
Entrance hallway: A stable part glazed door glass doors lead into the entrance hall leading to the downstairs Bathroom.
Downstairs Bathroom: A lovely light room with a bath with a shower over a sink with a vanity unit for storage. A towel rail will keep your towels lovely and toasty.
Kitchen: The kitchen is very well equipped and is in a contemporary style and boasts cream shaker painted units, a traditional settle and a stable door leading to the delightful and private rear garden. You will find a large cream fridge /freezer, an electric cooker with ceramic hob, a dishwasher, microwave and a Bosch coffee machine. In fact everything you need to cook up a tasty meal with some local Yorkshire produce, let the cooking begin!
Living/Dining room: This room has some beautiful beams and some panelled walls, it is a light room with windows looking over the rear garden. This restful room has a woodburner which will keep you cosy on chilly winter evenings, Applegarth Cottage is perfect for stays in any season. There are two leather sofas to cosy up on and watch the large SMART TV. There are plenty of architectural interests in this room including an original pine column. The dining area has a traditional large pine table and matching dresser, just the place for a family celebration meal or fun with friends, whatever your reason for a gathering, this is a great place to be. Relax in this extremely stylish room after a busy day exploring the North York Moors.
Staircase: This leads from the living room; 10 steps lead up to the upstairs landing.
Bedroom 1: An elegantly furnished room entered by a pine panelled door which boasts a super king bed and pretty linen You will find plenty of storage with a large built in wardrobe, and bedside cabinets. The window looks out over the garden and fields beyond. A quiet and peaceful room.
Bedroom 2: A restful room with a panelled ceiling and low window looking out over the garden. There is a king-sized bed with pretty linen, a vintage style cream chest of drawers and bedside cabinets.
Bedroom 3: A Lovely single room again with pretty linen, decorative shelving and a bedside cabinet, this room looks out over the large front garden. A gentle and calming room.

Garden: The garden is a real feature of this property. At the rear It rises from the patio in stepped levels with steps leading up to a lawned area which is enclosed and private. There are lovely herbaceous borders and super views of fields. There is a hot tub on the patio area. There is outdoor furniture for your enjoyment and this has to be a perfect place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee, a tipple of an evening or an alfresco meal at any time of day.

Hinderwell is a small village between Runswick Bay and Staithes. The village has a great amount of community spirit and residents take part in an annual scarecrow competition which makes for family fun viewing as the creations line villager's gardens and businesses. There are many amenities including a butcher, a post office, church, a village hall, fish and chip shop, two inns and tennis courts . Hinderwell is an ideal base for walking holidays as it close to many coastal walking routes. Situated on the A174, it is ideal for those wanting to visit Whitby using the regular bus service. This avoids you paying to park in Whitby's busy car parks.
