Description

Forge is a stone-built cottage located in the beautiful village of Fylingdales a stone’s throw away from Robin Hood Bay.  Forge cottage provides spacious and comfortable accommodation for 6 guests with a double room with en suite, a family bathroom and two twin rooms over one floor. The cottage has stunning views from the hallway overlooking the bay. An ideal cottage to be booked on its own or additionally with the additional cottages on site. The cottage is in an ideal location if you are wanting to explore Robins Hood Bay, Boggle Hole, beautiful location for walking and exploring. The ease of parking at the end of the day makes this a great choice for families who want to explore further afield out about in the car visiting the Sea Life Centre in Scarborough, North York Moors Railway and exploring out and about in Whitby and enjoying the famous fish and chips for tea. The cottage is well laid out offering a well-equipped kitchen, a generous lounge with a dining room area to seat six guests. This is an ideal cottage within a lovely location with a play area on site and parking a lovely walk into the surrounding village of Robin Hoods Bay for any keen walkers. There is use of a day kennel on the complex but please be aware that there is no resident kennel maid onsite.

Located five miles south of Whitby and 15 miles north of Scarborough, it is the perfect place for a self-catering holiday. Steeped in history this quaint village with its winding cobbled streets, dotted with cafes, pubs and shops it is well catered for visitors. It boasts a stunning beach at the foot of the bay which provides a paradise for family fun. Children will be entertained with plenty of rock pools to splash in and fossils to hunt, while adults can take in the breathtaking views of the cliffs which tell the enchanting history of the place.
