Our Filey cottages are great for enjoying the wonderful sandy beach at this elegant seaside town, which is a great choice for a self-catering holiday. Filey is a small town which started out as a fishing village, and the beautiful sea views have made it a popular place amongst tourists. The glorious beach is one of Yorkshire's finest view points at sunset and day break, and the wide promenade is popular with visitors for a gentle stroll. The Royal Crescent is well worth a visit with its wide gardens and bandstand where concerts are held on Sundays in the summer. Up until the 1950's this was regarded as the most fashionable address in the North of England.
The town has a museum and a golf course and holds a Folk Festival each year. To the north, Filey Brigg provides an excellent place for birdwatching.
