Our cottages in Burniston are the perfect base for exploring the coastal bays and villages of the Yorkshire Coast (Whitby and Scarborough are an easy drive away) or head inland to explore the gorgeous North York Moors National Park. The village itself is full of charm with stone cottages, a popular local pub and village shop. The village used to have a railway line pass by which has now been converted to a scenic walking and cycle path which runs along the coast, beginning at Scarborough and running along as far north as Whitby. In the neighbouring village of Cloughton you'll find the old railway station which is now a lovely tea room.
