This charming quality cottage has been converted from an old farm building and retains much of its old character with exposed beams throughout. Enjoying a very peaceful position, adjacent to the owner's house, the cottage is surrounded by open farmland over which there are superb, extensive views.

The accommodation is on the ground floor level, with one small step inside, and is immaculately presented with good quality furniture and a high standard of decoration. The spacious lounge features leather sofas and chairs and oak side tables, and the patio doors open to a small patio; perfect for relaxing in and enjoying the wonderful views over the countryside. In addition to the patio there is an extensive grassed area for children to play in. The cottage has been given a four star rating by Visit England.

The hamlet of Stittenham is an ideal base for exploring North Yorkshire, close to the spectacular Castle Howard (location of Brideshead Revisited) which is approximately 10 miles from the city of York, North York Moors and Yorkshire coast all within easy reach.
