A beautifully-presented first-floor apartment in a quiet residential close just 1 mile from Whitby’s iconic quayside. Entering via a hallway and stairs at the rear of this converted manor house, the cosy lounge has a rustic appeal, a lovely area to curl up in after a romantic meal that was prepared and served in the bright kitchen/diner next door. The welcome embrace of the double bedroom is hard to leave in the morning, though a long soak in the large bathroom nearby could be the perfect excuse to slip away. Whitby’s charming town centre, quayside and pier lie 1 mile from the property, an area rich in maritime history and now lined with couple-friendly cafes, pubs and restaurants serving the catch of the day. The views from Whitby’s clifftop abbey are worth the 199-step climb from the old town alone. Robin Hood’s Bay (7 miles) has been popular with generations of visitors to North Yorkshire, while the beautiful vistas of the North York Moors National Park (2.5 miles) are a must for keen walkers.

Really enjoyed our stay. Aparment was lovely and clean and had everything you needed. It was a little further to Whitby Town centre than we thought but would stay there again.

Very good location to the town of Whitby only about a ten minute walk. Cosy, warm and clean modern apartment. Lovely private garden and personal parking space. Helpful and friendly family who own the property. Would definitely recommend it to other couples.

Apartment very clean, comfortable and quiet with lovely garden to sit in. Good off street parking. Bathroom had lovely bath and shower. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great apartment nicely situated for the town and moors. Some lovely walks nearby. We would definately stay here again. Added bonus the wildlife in the garden and some very low flying bats were very entertaining.

Everything was as reported in your information. We would like to stay there again but in the ground floor apartment. Since we are elderly we found the access quite difficult. Otherwise we were very happy with everything else.

Great flat in lovely old house. Clean and in a perfect location for a Whitby holiday. We'll be back!
