Welcome to this beautiful, romantic, retreat for two. Located close to Whitby centre this is the perfect place for a couple to relax in style and enjoy time spent together in spacious surroundings. On entering the apartment, you are met by a very spacious hallway, ideal for leaving casts, cases and any special holiday purchase. A large living room boasting 2 three seater sofas, coffee table, modern sideboard, with beautiful wood windows with original shutters. There is a Smart TV on and stand and a DVD, perfect for those cosy nights together. A door leads through to the dining kitchen fitted with contemporary units, a retro style fridge freezer, electric oven and two ring induction hob. A wonderful place to enjoy your breakfast, or a romantic evening meal
On into the bedroom with super king-sized zip and link bed which can be split into twin beds if required with luxurious bedding with bedside cabinets and lamps. There is a day bed for lounging on and maybe reading that book you have always been going to read. The large bathroom boasts a bath with shower over pedestal wash hand basin and WC. Not only is it suitable for couples but the apartment can accommodate 2 children. The bedroom is an ideal family room with a substantial day-bed and an additional bed, both with mattresses that are suitable for children up to 18.
Whitby is a very popular seaside town retaining old world character and has lots of events throughout the year. Whatever your interests there is something for everyone in the locality, historic castles, even older abbeys, museums, farms, walking, cycling, superb local markets with the very best Yorkshire produce and of course restaurants and tea rooms too numerous to mention.

Whitby is a popular choice for visitors all year round. It is well known for its long sandy beach and delicious seafood. The river Esk flows through the town to the sea and cottages are perched on the hills on each side, with cobbled streets and historic yards providing a maze of places to explore. The town has a fantastic mix of modern shops and services, traditional stores and boutique shops. Whitby jet continues to be made into beautiful jewellery and sold in a number of shops. There are plenty of excellent restaurants which serve local fish and seafood, as well as a wonderful choice of cafes and tearooms.
The ruins of Whitby Abbey stand dominantly on the clifftop and can be reached by climbing the 199 steps from the old town. The Abbey is said to have been the inspiration for Bram Stoker's novel Count Dracula, and its gothic splendour is the perfect place from which to take in some truly stunning views over the town, harbour and coastline. Whitby harbour is steeped in history and visitors can see where British explorer Captain James Cook first worked as an apprentice before setting sail and discovering Australia. A statue of this great explorer stands proudly above the town, along with some huge whalebones, a sign of the town's maritime history. The harbour is a buzz of activity and you can enjoy early mornings watching the fishing boats come ashore before getting first choice of their catch of the day.
There's always something happening throughout the town, with festivals and fairs are held throughout the year. These include Whitby Folk Week and the Whitby Regatta, and there are two popular Goth festivals each year.
