Had a great week in Whitby. Great apartment couldn't fault it. Thank you very much.
Fantastic apartment and holiday!!
Wonderful apartment and so well equipped. We will recommend whenever we can, we have had a lovely holiday. Thank you.
Very, very nice flat. Would book again. Even the weather was perfect. Good to have a garage that you can get into. Thanks for the "goodies".
Very pleased with the apartment and only a short stroll through the park to the town. The secure parking a big bonus. Another enjoyable, relaxing week in Whitby.
Amazing property and welcome pack. It surpassed our expectations. Thank you
We were so happy to come back. It really was like coming home. Had a perfect stay again and we look forward to coming back and staying again. Thank you.
Just perfect. We have stayed in Whitby several times but this apartment beats the lot! We will be back because we love Whitby!
Thank you for letting us share your lovely apartment. After coming to Whitby for 20 years at New Year this has been the best yet. So formforable, clean and not had to worry about parking. Eddie and I have been over the moon with it. So much so we have booked it for next year.
Dragonfly! What can we say? A little gem. Perfect location on Pannett Park, lovely and on the doorstep. Peaceful and quiet yet within walking distance into Whitby and the coast. We couldn't ask for anything more in an apartment. Spotlessly clean and tidy, great decor and everything that we needed. The welcome pack was indeed just that - very welcome! Was really nice to have tea/coffee as soon as we arrived - plus biscuits out of this world. Having a DAB radio was a bonus as we like the radio but all too often you're dependent on the TV. Everywhere was so comfy that after a day's walking it was a pleasure to return. Can recommend walking the cinder track if you want something different. Will return!
We've visited Whitby previously but this was our first stay in Dragonfly. we've enjoyed it so much that we have just booked to stay again in the new year. Perfect location and excellent facilities. Definitely a home from home - can't wait to come back. Thank you.
Lovely comfortable flat which has everything you need. We have had a great weekend stay - Whitby has such a lot to offer. Great walking, fantastic fish restaurants. Expect a return visit!
Thank you for sharing you lovely apartment here in beautiful Whitby. Really enjoyed our stay and spending time exploring Whitby and surrounding areas. Try Silver Street fisheries - benches outside to sit on and enjoy lovely Haddock!
Outstanding apartment, superbly equipped. Secure parking a great bonus. Lovely to explore Whitby. Must visit Whitby's Micropub "The Waiting Room" at the station. Dragonfly..... we will be back :)
Very well located to the local amenities, very peaceful.
Great place to stay and we have found that we certainly 'lucked out' having never been to Whitby before. There was a temptation to go to one of the holiday lets in town for the history and closeness to everything. We are so glad we didn't. This apartment is so well placed and having parking here has been really helpful. Especially now we realise that that parking is at such a premium in town. We are already planning our return trip and would love to stay here again. A real home from home. Thank you
Lovely apartment in a great location, spotlessly clean and very nice to have secure parking and wi-fi! has everything you could ever need and would not hesitate in staying at Dragonfly again. Thanks!
A lovely peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the town. Our holiday apartment was second to none!
Fantastic apartment, so relaxing and peaceful after a busy day. It was comfortable, well furnished and spotless. We have only every been day-trippers to Whitby before so it's been great to immerse ourselves. We enjoyed the Regatta, caught a bus to Scarborough and the train to Pickering. We loved walking through the park every day too., Many thanks.
The property was excellent everything we could want. Great that there was parking at the property. The park was just across the road.
Lovely apartment. Everything here that we needed for our stay. We had a fantastic stay with brilliant weather. Thank you so much.
Beautiful apartment. Everything here that we needed for our stay. Very comfortable, very clean. Town to shops, pubs and restaurants not far away. Great having the patio with table and chairs. We had a lovely stay, thank you.
What a little gem this lovely apartment is. It had everything we needed and more besides. 5-10 min walk into Whitby village, yet far enough out for the peace and quiet we wanted. Bed comfortable, shower good and hot, very tastefully decorated. What more could we ask for - nothing. Thanks very much appreciated.
Lovely appointed apartment with the bonus of parking. Lovely and clean and all we needed. Was really good walking through Pannet Park and feeding squirrels everyday. They are really tame. Great weather also. Had a trip to Scarborough and Robins Hood Bay
Lovely apartment, very clean, everything you need. Really good that it has parking. Very quiet location but great for main roads. First visit to Whitby - really enjoyed it. Beautiful part of the world. Would recommend
Fantastic apartment ideally located to all the amenities of Whitby. Beautifully decorated. Everything there you need to make your holiday memorable. Will be revisiting again.
Whitby is a popular choice for visitors all year round. It is well known for its long sandy beach and delicious seafood. The river Esk flows through the town to the sea and cottages are perched on the hills on each side, with cobbled streets and historic yards providing a maze of places to explore. The town has a fantastic mix of modern shops and services, traditional stores and boutique shops. Whitby jet continues to be made into beautiful jewellery and sold in a number of shops. There are plenty of excellent restaurants which serve local fish and seafood, as well as a wonderful choice of cafes and tearooms.
The ruins of Whitby Abbey stand dominantly on the clifftop and can be reached by climbing the 199 steps from the old town. The Abbey is said to have been the inspiration for Bram Stoker's novel Count Dracula, and its gothic splendour is the perfect place from which to take in some truly stunning views over the town, harbour and coastline. Whitby harbour is steeped in history and visitors can see where British explorer Captain James Cook first worked as an apprentice before setting sail and discovering Australia. A statue of this great explorer stands proudly above the town, along with some huge whalebones, a sign of the town's maritime history. The harbour is a buzz of activity and you can enjoy early mornings watching the fishing boats come ashore before getting first choice of their catch of the day.
There's always something happening throughout the town, with festivals and fairs are held throughout the year. These include Whitby Folk Week and the Whitby Regatta, and there are two popular Goth festivals each year.
