In a wonderful location overlooking the sea on the Heritage Coastline and within a 5 minute walk from the golden sandy beach, this spacious self contained apartment has been tastefully decorated to an excellent standard. All rooms in the apartment are on one level and are of generous proportion making this the ideal location for the less mobile. Doors leading from the open plan living area to the patio allows you to take advantage of the beautifully maintained garden and the spectacular views.

The charming market town of Berwick upon Tweed is on the other side of the River Tweed and is famous for the Elizabethan fortified walls which encircle the town and the remarkable rail bridge built by Robert Stephenson. The town offers a wide selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes as well as a weekly market and an arts theatre. The location is ideal for visiting Alnwick and Bamburgh Castles and the holy island of Lindisfarne or trips to Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders can be enjoyed on the excellent bus and train service.

Area Information

Berwick is steeped in history with beautiful architecture. Berwick's great Elizabethan walls are still standing and in very good condition which allow for walks along these to enjoy outstanding views over the estuary and The Royal Border Bridge, built by Robert Stevenson and known as one of the finest bridges of its kind in the world. Take a guided tour around Paxton House, one of Berwick's hidden gems, and learn about its history, have a wander around its fantastic gardens then enjoy a spot of tea in the tea rooms.

For the more active following The Swan Centre for Leisure offers activities all year round from swimming to 5-a-side football. Berwick is also fantastic for walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing and golf.
