Back after our 11th stay in Lavender cottage, had a great week here. Reccommend Marie Antoinettes, teashop in Church street, Whitby but came too early for the Magpie re-opening. Great cottage - back again next year!!
Second time we've stayed here and we had a lovely week. Lovely cottage in such a good location. Thank you
3rd stay at Lavender cottage. We had a lovely week with decent weather.Lots of great days out to York, Dalby Forest, Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby, Sandsend and Saltburn. I'd recommend Shephards Hall in Lealholm for lunch, friendly service and lovely food. I think we'll miss the cottage lots but I'm sure we'll be back. Thanks
A very enjoyable stay at your lovely cottage. Very relaxing thank you
A lovely stay again in your lovely cottage. Thank you
We have had a very enjoyable stay in Lavender cottage. Cosy, comfortable and well equipped. Thank you for our welcome pack. We enjoyed parts of the cleveland way and trips to Saltburn and the valley garden walk. Also Guisborough and the abbey woods - a fun place for children!! Hope to be back next year. The hole of Horcum is a beautiful walk in Aug-Sept for the heather moors
Sleights is a stunning, traditional village located about three miles from Whitby, and is one of the largest villages in country. Along the bottom of the village runs the River Esk, where many salmon can be seen leaping in the river. Salmon fishing permits can be obtained for anyone interested in trying their hand at fishing. The village has fantastic amenities including a shop, bakers, an award-winning butchers, pubs, church, village hall, fish and chip restaurant and a post office. It is a wonderful location for walks and is perfect for a family or couples holiday.
