Liverton cottages

Take a drive from Whitby over the moors towards Guisborough and you will see signposts to many lovely Esk Valley villages as well as villages near the North Yorkshire Coast. Such a village is Liverton, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, with a very popular pub, “The Waterwheel Inn”, particularly renowned for its Sunday Lunch Carvery. With a large car park, good food and an open fire, the inn attracts customers from all over. Just 15 minutes from Whitby, the market town of Guisborough and the delightful beach at Runswick Bay, the village provides a great base for exploring the area.
