Description

Salter Fell is in a great location near Ingleton with its beautiful falls in the heart of Three Peaks country.  With great views of Ingleborough and Whernside this is the perfect base for fell walking, cycling or just exploring the area at your own pace.  Set in 6 acres of private land, this charming cottage has original beams and stonework and a patio area overlooking the beautiful scenery.  Guests can take a pottery course with the owner at the fully equipped studio close to the cottage.

Our local Village Low Bentham 1/2 mile away has 2 Pubs that serve excellent food and High Bentham 1 1/2 miles away has two small Supermarkets, good Pubs and Restaurants and Basic Banking facilities. Ingleton 4 miles away is famous for its Waterfalls & Caves and sits at the foot of Ingleborough Hill. The Cottages are also within easy reach of Morecambe Bay, the Lake District and Forest of Bowland. The "Three Peaks Challenge" of walking Ingleborough, Whernside & Pen Y Ghent is a popular thing to do and the Cottages are well placed for doing them.
