Description
Brackenber Farmhouse has been sympathetically modernised and is located in a small hamlet between Settle and Ingleton. This spacious, well-equipped period farmhouse bears a date stone of 1696 and has the original mullion windows. The lounge is spacious with comfortable seating and benefits from a large stone fireplace (with the original bread oven and salt hole) housing a woodburning stove. The kitchen/dining room is an ideal sociable area for family and friends to get together and an Aga completes the farmhouse feel. This well laid out farmhouse offers peace and tranquillity. There are wonderful walks through the area and as the property is on the Lancashire - Yorkshire border you can easily explore the stunning countryside of the Dales as well as the Forest of Bowland and beyond into Lancashire. The farmhouse is in the three peaks area with Ingleborough walkable from the property.
