Area Information

The bustling little market town of Bentham is nestled between the Yorkshire Dales and Forest Of Bowland national parks. Over the years the town expanded and resulted in both ends of the town having a name of its own right, those names being High Bentham and Low Bentham. Bentham has a good range of country shops and traditional pubs. If you happen visit on a Wednesday then be sure to take a look around the weekly market where you will find a range of local produce. The town is well severed by rail and road and has excellent links for visiting Morecambe bay, Skipton castle and Leeds city centre to name just a few. If you don't fancy travelling quite so far then why not try visiting the neighbouring village of Ingleton where there is a picturesque waterfalls walk and the magnificent White Scar Caves.
