High Bentham cottages

High Bentham is a traditional market town which is ideally located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and Forest of Bowland. Situated in North Yorkshire close to the Lancashire border, the town really is well placed for walkers, cyclists, explorers and golfers. High Bentham has several local pubs to choose from, the Hogs and the Heifers, the Black Bull, the Coach House and the Horse and Farrier as well as cafes, restaurants and takeaways to enjoy on an evening.  The village has 3 of its own heritage trails, taking you past local landmarks and into the magnificent surrounding countryside. The blue trail, the longest trail at 9 miles long, passes the Great Stone of Fourstones (known locally as Big Stone), a glacial deposit on the moorlands surrounding the visit. The stone has 15 steps carved into the side of it to allow access to the top where you can enjoy a stunning view over Tatham Fells. Our High Bentham cottages can be seen below.
