Description
Enjoying a peaceful location on the edge of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this barn has been recently converted to provide high quality holiday accommodation. The property has a number of environmentally sustainable features including heat pump warm air central heating and hot water by solar panels.
Very comfortably and tastefully furnished, the cottage has retained a great deal of its original character and charm with exposed beams throughout and solid oak flooring. Open plan living accommodation leads to two bedrooms which both have the flexibility of providing double or twin beds. The cottage has its own private south facing garden which overlooks the owner's paddock where sheep and hens are kept. Both the cottage and the garden enjoy spectacular views over open farmland and across the Ribble Valley extending to Pendle Hill.
The hamlet of Dutton is an ideal base for exploring the whole of the Ribble Valley and Forest of Bowland, and there are some beautiful walks from the cottage through the surrounding open farmland. The Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach and the Lake District is approximately an hours drive.
