Enjoying its peaceful location on the edge of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this newly built Lodge provides not only high quality holiday accommodation but also the added attraction of versatile outdoor spaces and stunning views. Its unique backdrop of traditional rural life offers picturesque scenes of bustling wildlife including deer roaming in the adjacent fields. A real opportunity to pause daily life and unwind!
Comfortably furnished, the Lodge although new has traditional character charm with exposed beams and cladding throughout. Décor is built around a traditional and modern mix of comfort and functionality. Open plan living accommodation has everything needed for a quiet retreat or social breaks with friends. The big picture windows maximize your views and enjoyment of the countryside at any time of year. Moving out of the daily living space the two bedrooms are matched with high spec en-suite facilities. One bedroom remains a king but the other offers either king or twin beds dependent upon your requirements. With so much to do in the local area if your visit is one of walking, cycling and enjoying the outdoors then the boot room provided will be a welcome bonus for you.Self contained and heated the boot room offers a place to store and dry your walking/cycling gear. Across the hall the separate utility room offers a sink, washing machine and tumble dryer which could come in handy in this neck of the woods. If your plan is to hide out and stay in the lodge then you will find private gated parking, two veranda areas, a patio with patio furniture and a garden overlooking the tranquil grazing of the deer.
The Lodge is perfectly placed for exploring the whole of the Ribble Valley, Forest of Bowland, Settle and Kirby Lonsdale. Travelling a little further away you can be in the Lakes in around an hour. Staying nearer to home, step out of the lodge straight onto a network of historic walkways that offer miles of terrain to explore the Dales.
Lounge/Kitchen/Dining: A large open plan area with stunning views over the private garden and countryside beyond. The space offers excellent facilities with a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast bar with fridge, freezer, electric hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and cupboards full of crockery and utensils. If sitting at the breakfast bar isn’t for you then there’s a dining area that comfortably seats 6. When you want to be away from the kitchen the open space offers two seating areas, a comfy sofa to dive into and watch the SMART TV with Freeview and a separate breakout area with radio and excellent light for reading and taking in the view.
