The Old Granary is set in an enviable position on the Yorkshire border, not far from the village of Bolton-by-Bowland, in beautiful surroundings.  Harrop Fold is centrally located for touring the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District, West Coast resorts and the Ribble Valley.  From the cottage there are excellent views across the fields and there is a peaceful garden area for lazy days.  There are quite a few very good garden centres in this area, and many forest trails and footpaths to follow, taking you through some of the most breathtaking scenery.  There is a pub serving lovely meals 2.5 miles from the cottage and a short drive will take you to Clitheroe or Skipton, two of the region's most popular market towns.
