Description

Adjacent to the Manor House, this 17th century cottage is set in Harrop Fold on the Yorkshire border, a quiet hamlet close to the village of Bolton-by-Bowland in the beautiful Trough of Bowland.  This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is ideal for walkers, wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers, with many footpaths and forest trails surrounding the cottage.  To the exterior of the cottage there is a flight of steps to private patio from the well-kept garden below. There's a pub serving very good food just 2.5 miles away.

You are also within easy reach of Clitheroe and Skipton, where you can spend a day browsing round the markets and shops, having lunch in one of the many tearooms, pubs and restaurants, or for history lovers, both towns have castles with a wealth of history behind them. The West Coast, the whole of the Yorkshire Dales and The Lake District are within easy driving distance for a good day out; all in all, a good central location in which to spend your well-deserved holiday
