A stunning open plan kitchen/lounge and dining area on the top floor. This property sleeps 6 in three bedrooms across 2 floors with 2 modern bathrooms. With quiet roads and footpaths lined with wild flowers this makes a wonderful base to explore the Lake District and The Yorkshire Dales. With the Coast to Coast Walk and the Cumbrian cycle Way on the doorstep.

LOWER GROUND FLOOR:
Back door entrance in to a small porch leading into a double bedroom and utility room.
Bedroom 1: King-size bed, wardrobe, hair dryer. Door to utility room (low doorway).
Utility Room: Accessible through the bedroom and back door. Washing machine, tumble dryer, travel cot, high chair, stair gate, picnic items, dog bowls, fire guard and clothes airer.

Orton

The small market village of Orton lies 15 miles south of Penrith, 8 miles from Appleby-in-Westmorland and just under 2 miles from the M6 motorway near the Lake District. From the cottages in Orton you can enjoy many beautiful walks and Wainwrights Coast to Coast walk passes through the village on its way to Kirkby Stephen. Nearby Orton Scar boasts picturesque views over the Lake District. The village itself offers a traditional inn called the George Hotel and Kennedys handmade chocolate shop and factory, as well as tea rooms, a village store and post office.
