Description

Completely renovated and modernised, this converted barn has been furnished and decorated to an exceptionally high standard whilst retaining plenty of character and charm with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings.  Situated in the centre of the pretty Yorkshire Dales village of Crosby Garrett, it enjoys an idyllic setting in a quiet, scenic position at the side of the beck. There is gorgeous countryside in all directions with the better known (and more heavily touristed) lakes and dales all within a short drive although with a range of gorgeous circular walks available from the doorstep you may well prefer to stay local.

This high-quality barn will delight at every turn with mood lighting; limestone flooring with under floor heating and a quality finish inside providing pure luxury throughout.  The hand-crafted solid oak kitchen incorporates a wide range of Miele integrated appliances comprising a bean to cup coffee machine, three ovens including a separate steam oven, together with Corian worktops, breakfast bar and a Quooker boiling water tap.  The adjacent dining room has ample space for six to dine in style and is flooded with light from the bi-fold solid oak doors that lead to the front patio area. To the side of the barn a stone pathway leads through raised stylishly planted areas to a furnished paved patio area ideal for dining al fresco.

 The barn benefits from two large sitting rooms together with a cosy snug thereby providing a range of places for guests to relax.

The double height lounge is fitted with a 55”wall mounted LG Smart TV with matching sound bar and Blu-ray player perfect for movie or games night.

The other bright sitting room has ample seating for six. With a feature fire this room provides the perfect space for all guests to come together. It also has a 43”LG Smart TV providing an alternate entertainment space if required.

The bedrooms are spacious with natural fibre mattresses, luxury cotton bedding by The White Company and Woolroom woollen duvets and pillows.

The bathrooms are of a superb quality with designer fixtures incorporating a large double end bath in the main bathroom and a large shower in the en suite. Welcome toiletries and luxurious thick cotton towels are provided.

This is a fantastic holiday home, beautifully appointed offering guests a high level of luxury in a beautiful area.

There is a Quooker boiling water tap for instant tea and coffee making. Wall mounted TV with Free Sat.

Crosby Garrett
The little hamlet of Crosby Garrett has welcomed settlers since Saxon times and you will notice the hamlet has a wealth of historic houses, with many dating back to the 17th century. The hamlet's location in the Yorkshire Dales National Park means you will never be far from a breathtaking walk or exciting visitor attractions. Those that love the great outdoors will also be pleased to discover it's close proximity to the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as being within driving distance of the Lake District National Park. From the hamlet itself you'll find gorgeous views of the Howgills as well as the Northern Pennines, though this breathtaking location does not mean you are cut off: the market town of Kirkby Stephen is only 4 miles away with its lovely cobbled streets, historic buildings and range of shops. The historic Settle to Carlisle railway passes through the hamlet on the Crosby Garrett viaduct, the train can be boarded from the neighbouring villages.
