This charming cottage is situated in the small village of Ireby in Northern Lakeland, with excellent views down and across the Eden Valley and is just 12 miles north of the very popular town of Keswick. The cottage has retained some of its original character with exposed beams in the lounge, kitchen and twin bedroom and latched doors throughout. The accommodation is comfortably furnished to give it a cosy feel and is extremely well equipped. Access to the cottage is on the first floor via a set of external steps through to a hall area into the lounge (with French doors to the balcony).
Situated just North of Skiddaw, Ireby is an excellent centre for touring and walking throughout the Northern Lakes yet is relatively unspoilt and provides a haven from the hustle and bustle of the busier parts of the Lake District. Ambleside and Windermere are however still within easy reach. The farm in the village sells milk, eggs and seasonable vegetables.
