Description
A traditional Yorkshire Dales stone built property full of original features and oozing charm and character. Winshaw House is very well equipped and is ideal for families or groups of friends looking to get away from it all. Throughout the house quirky aspects delight at every turn with original beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls, window seats and a Victorian tessellated floor in the porch. The lounge boasts a Multifuel stove and views over the Dale from each window. Winshaw House benefits from window seats in every room from where you can see the famous Three Peaks, Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent. The property offers peace and tranquillity and is located on the Yorkshire/Lancashire borders and close to the Ribblehead viaduct and the popular market towns of Hawes and Ingleton. The Dales High Way which is a 90 mile walk and stretches from Saltaire (near Bradford) to Appleby-in-Westmoreland passes by front of the property and the Pennine Way and Ribble Way are less than 1/2 mile away.

Please note that the approach road to the cottage is unmade but is easily passable by most cars, care should be taken when driving up to the property.
