Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous location. Less than a minute walk to the river and stepping stones. Our dog loved playing in the river and garden. We loved our stay at the cottage.... it is so cosy and picturesque. Cottage was nice and clean, with everything we needed in the kitchen. Nice bath and shower along with a separate toilet which was useRead moreful. A great base to explore the area from. Lots of places to visit within 10-15min drive. Lovely pubs nearby. We really would have liked to stay longer and would recommend to friends. I hope we get to stay there again. The decor is alittle out dated but this was not an issue whatsoever. Hide

This cottage was a last minute replacement to our original booking due to flooding. We were very pleased with the arrangement of a new property and was able to start our holiday as planned in the area of our choice. We did compromise on having two double beds instead of a double and 2 twins but this was a minor inconvenience.

Overall lovely cottage in a lovely location. Comfortable & well equipped. Not convinced on road parking is as stated in the description as its on a narrow blind bend & in front of a field gate & then only room for one car not two as stated. Our concerns relate to the lack of parking attached to the property. It is impossible to park outside due to narrow width of the road which meant carrying the luggage for some distance. Clearly an issue since the comments in the house book mentioned adverse reactions from local residents if the visitors parked further down the road outside theRead moreir cottages. We are surprised that this issue was not highlighted in your prospectus so visitors are forewarned. In addition the steep stone steps leading upto the cottage from the road are well worn and require great care particularly if you are carrying luggage. Hide
