Enjoy a wonderful family holiday at this spacious house on the seafront in Filey with amazing views, perfect for any time of year. It has two lounges, a rear garden, large front balcony, and one furry family member is welcome to join you. The house is perfectly placed for enjoying the coast, local amenities, and nearby attractions.

The three storey house has plenty of space for everyone and makes a comfortable home from home. Spend your evenings watching the Smart TV and playing games in the sitting room while Fido dozes next to the electric fire. Enjoy the views from the bay window and sit at the desk to write your postcards. Prepare delicious fayre in the well-presented kitchen then eat together in the spacious dining room, adorned with pretty watercolours of the local area, there’s also a utility room with a door to the garden. You’ll find a second lounge on the first floor with a Smart TV and balcony, as well as a lovely king/twin bedroom with great storage and a sink, and the family bathroom. The second king/twin is on the second floor, with an en-suite shower room, along with an inviting twin. Enjoy al fresco drinks in the rear garden and on the lounge balcony where there are awesome views.

Head to the beach (just over 150 metres away) to explore the rock pools and build sandcastles. Take the kids to make new friends at the bird and animal park, let off steam on the play park there and have a picnic (1 mile). Walk all the way to Scarborough (9 miles) on the Cleveland Way coastal path or drive there (7.5 miles). Go birdwatching at RSPB Bempton Cliffs (10 miles); kids will love the slides and pool at Bridlington leisure centre (11.5 miles).

Perfect seafront location with stunning views. The spacious first floor lounge with balcony is the big selling point. Whether you're a family with young children who will enjoy the beach every day or go further afield, exploring the wonderful coastline, it's a perfect base. You need to be mobile as the property is spread over 3 floors so there's loRead morets of running up & down stairs. We always found a parking space but again, you need to be fully mobile to make the short walk to the car parking spaces & consider that loading/unloading the car takes a bit more effort. The owners left generous welcome gifts & complimentary items which always indicates a quality holiday let. Hide

Worked well as a last minute break for a family get together. Weather was great for November and our dog loves the beach so was in heaven. The quite unusual thing about this cottage was that everything worked which is not always the case. All in all an excellent and enjoyable stay

Spacious property, handy for the beach, but be aware of the funfair directly opposite which leads to noise during its (brief) opening hours.
