Cross the River Esk to reach the 199 Steps which lead up to the imposing Whitby Abbey ruins (1 mile). Explore the surrounding National Park to find the secluded secluded Kettleness Beach (5.5 miles) and the Little Beck Wood Nature Reserve (5.5 miles).
