On the ground floor is a neat kitchen with all the appliances you need to create romantic dinners from fresh local ingredients you can buy at the local markets. There are six steps up to the cosy lounge with a sofa to snuggle on and a TV for evening entertainment. A further six steps lead up to a super-king-size bedroom. A shower room completes the offer in this cosy cottage. Outside is a garden area with a table and chairs making this a perfect spot to enjoy a morning brew or dine alfresco while taking in the views and watching out for the woodpecker!

The cottage is an ideal base for exploring the stunning North York Moors National Park. North Riding Forest Park (16.5 miles), National Trust Bridestones Crosscliff and Blakey Topping (19 miles) offer opportunities for walking and cycling. Head to the market town of Pickering (9 miles) to catch the North York Moors Railway and enjoy a ride through the beautiful moorland to the coast. Excellent location for the North Yorkshire Moors and surrounding places to visit. Make sure you make reservations at the local pubs when out and about as no WiFi or mobile signal but that's a good thing for a tech free vacation.
