This is a beautiful, comfortable, well equipped property. Having never been to RHB we didnt realise how hilly it was. I had read reviews and never picked up on the steepness of this wee fishing village! If you are even a little infirm I would not recommend as a holiday destination. The cottage itself has pretty steep steps to all bedrooms and bathrRead moreoom with no toilet on ground level. One musts when booking a property is a parking space, which at time of booking this property did have BUT a few days prior to us checking in we were told the parking space was no longer available, I understand this was outwith the property owners control. Unfortunately by the time we were told, it was too short notice to cancel/ reschedule. There is public parking area at the top of the hill (property was at the bottom of the hill) which caused one of our guests problems as they were unable to climb the hill. We were out of season and even then had to wait in the car park for a space to become free which was not ideal. Again Im reiterating this wasnt the owners fault at this time. Thankfully we could take the car down the hill to pick up the guest unable to walk up the hill but this would have been less hassle if we had the car parking space designated to the property at the time of booking Hide

We would thoroughly recommend staying at Meadowcroft. Its a delightful cottage with absolutely everything you could possibly need. A short (steep) stroll from the front door to the beach and great food venues.

The cottage is in an excellent place in the centre of the old village. It was absolutely spotlessly clean, we have never stayed in a cleaner holiday cottage. The parking space was the icing on the cake, being only a two minute walk from the cottage. It is very well equipped and very comfortable. Spacious property in the heart of Robin Hoods Bay with the benefit of nearby parking, which given the hill up to the public car park was much appreciated.

Meadowcroft is larger than many of the properties in the lower bay, and has an excellent layout over three floors. It is cosy and comfortable with a lovely coal effect gas fire in the lounge. There are two good sized bathrooms one on each floor with the bedrooms which is very convenient. The location is perfect for the village amenities. All in allRead more we loved our stay here. Hide
