Feel right at home in this fantastically cosy cottage in the heart of the seaside town of Whitby. This enticing three-storey cottage invites a family of four to nestle within characterful surroundings after long days at the beach.

Follow the cobbled streets of Whitby to find yourself outside your pretty holiday home. Let yourselves in, drop the bags down and discover an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner that oozes relaxation. Choose your spot on the sofa after a busy day and lose yourself in a good book accompanied by a steaming mug of cocoa. Whip up post-beach dinners in the well-appointed kitchen and come together around the dining table for evenings of Yorkshire fare and stacks of laughter. Take your nightcap out to the gorgeous courtyard garden and sip against the starlight backdrop. Follow steep, cottage-style steps up to the first floor, where a delightfully decorated double bedroom provides a great night's rest, while on the top floor sits a handy twin room with a beautiful beamed, vaulted ceiling. In the morning, freshen up in the first-floor family bathroom and prepare a hearty breakfast ready for the busy day ahead.

Within an easy walk, visit the many shops and eateries on your doorstep, while a short distance takes you to the renowned Whitby Abbey. Climb the 199 steps to the top and grab some magnificent snaps of the coastline and headland. Lovely little cottage, full of character. Loves that the original wallpaper on the stairs had been left on show! Was a lovely touch to have a potted history of the cottage.
