A really comfortable home from home. Well equipped (I couldn't find scissors). An easy walk to town which I appreciated as I am less mobile than I used to be. The Fleece pub became a regular stopping spot for refueling. The allocated parking is very welcome. Only one small complaint - the position of the mirror in the bathroom - although there isn'Read moret any other available spot. Made shaving fun. The shower is very good. Hide

Good location with parking for two cars just a walk from the centre of town. Best suited to a couple with perhaps two children as bedroom 2 is very small with little storage space and suffers from some road noise. A welcome pack of milk tea sugar and biscuits was a nice touch. Towels were also provided, contrary to the property information.

Stayed at this property for four nights recently. It was my first visit to Whitby and hopefully it wont be my last. The property was very clean upon arrival and well equipped. There was parking for two cars which was a godsend as trying to find parking is very difficult. The property itself is in a good location, being about a 10 minute walk into WRead morehitby itself. There is a bus stop directly outside so no need to use your car if you dont want to. I had a lovely little break and wouldnt hesitate to return or recommend this property. Its a little gem. Hide

Brilliant location, just far enough out to avoid hustle and bustle but easy walking distance to Whitby. (Approx 10mins). Very comfy cottage, had all we needed in kitchen and bathroom (brilliant shower)! TV a let down...reception for freeview was bad and the extra channel options of Roku was basically non-existent but as we didn't stay in cottage Read moremuch so the TV wasn't a major issue for us. I'd advise taking DVDs if you like your TV time. Parking was ample as two spaces provided. The view towards river Esk and Whitby was amazing. Hide

Nice clean and tidy accommodation in a good location alongside the river. Well equipped and with wi fi. Its a 5- 10 minute walk into Whitby with nice views of the river and harbour. A great plus for this accommodation is to have parking spots for up to two vehicles. Fabulous base from which to explore Whitby and the surrounding area.
