Enjoy a fun-packed getaway at this spacious, family-friendly, detached home in a quiet area of Scarborough overlooking the North Cliff golf course. With space for six guests and a lovely garden your furry family members can explore freely, it’s the perfect holiday pad.

This spacious home from home is relaxing and comfortable throughout. Go into the hallway, grab a book or board game from the cloakroom games area, then head through to the lounge. Play games, curl up on the L-shaped sofa and put your favourite TV show or movie on while the pups doze next to the gas fire. Make great memories in the spacious dining room enjoying meals cooked up in the well-appointed kitchen. Then it’s upstairs to bed in the three bedrooms: a stylish double with attractive wooden furniture, a pretty twin and single in the same style, which has a Z-bed that turns it into a double room; all of them have good storage for your holiday garb. Before bed you can have a long soak or a quick shower in the family bathroom. On warm days and evenings, take a drink out to the patio in the enclosed garden, while your canine friends laze in the sun.

There are pubs, shops, and cafes nearby, and the Sea Life centre, with fascinating sea creatures, is less than 650 metres away. Visit the historic harbour (2 miles) nestled below dramatic cliffs to watch the fishing boats bring in the day’s catch. For amazing views, explore the ruins of the once mighty Scarborough Castle (2 miles) on the headland above the harbour. Hit the sands of North Bay beach (1 mile) to sunbathe, paddle and swim – your canine friends are welcome on large parts of the beach all year round.

Great location, plenty of space, plenty of hot water and heating if needed. Price reflects that it is ***stars.

Property was clean and tidy but lacked some kitchen equipment. A shame that the outside seating area was just bare concrete slabs covered in weeds but still worth the money.
