Enjoy walks from the village through the dramatic moorland of Bronte Country, including to Top Withens – the ruined farmhouse thought to be the inspiration for Wuthering Heights. From Haworth, it’s easy to visit the historic town of Skipton, famous for its 900-year-old castle and magnificent architecture, or visit one of the Yorkshire Dales’ much-loved beauty spots, such as Malham Cove (24 miles) or Bolton Abbey (15 miles).
The cottage, which dates back to the 1700s, sits within a conservation area just off the village’s main street. Inside, the property has impressive exposed beams throughout, along with beautiful wooden floors and nature-inspired decor. Leave coats and walking boots in the hallway before heading through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Along one wall is a stylish kitchen with everything needed to prepare delicious dinners for two, which you can share at the sweet dining table. In the evenings, curl up in an armchair to read your book or watch a movie on the Smart TV. Upstairs, an inviting king-size bedroom awaits with plush linens and ample storage for all your holiday attire. A stylish bathroom completes the first floor.
