Bring everyone together at this spacious country home for ten in the peaceful village of Potto, with the western edge of the North York Moors close by for days spent walking and exploring. The honey-coloured village of Osmotherley is just 4 miles away, with the 110-mile Cleveland Way as well as the woodland and reservoir paths around Cod Beck. If you fancy something more challenging, make for Roseberry Topping (11 miles) and follow the popular route to its distinctive summit, or head to the Wainstones (12.5 miles) to walk among the sandstone crags of Hasty Bank (11.5 miles). Stokesley (7 miles) makes an excellent stop for lunch, with independent shops, cafes, and restaurants alongside its traditional Friday market. When you want a change from the countryside, spend a day at Saltburn-by-the-Sea (25.5 miles) where you can ride the cliffside funicular tramway, and wander its Victorian promenade with chips in hand.

A bespoke timber door opens into the reception hall, where you can leave coats and shoes before heading through to the impressive dining room, with enough space for all ten guests to sit down together. Next door, the kitchen combines generous proportions with views towards the Cleveland Hills. It features underfloor heating, granite work surfaces, and high-end appliances, including a Range cooker and an American-style fridge/freezer. A separate utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. For quieter moments, the lounge has a large L-shaped sofa around the TV and wood burner, making it an easy place for everyone to settle after a day out. The conservatory is a lovely spot for a morning coffee, with garden views and windows on several sides making the space feel bright and open. The dedicated gym gives early risers somewhere to fit in a workout before breakfast, and also includes a 6ft pool table that flips over to become a tennis table. Upstairs, five bedrooms provide plenty of space for a group of ten. The king-size bedroom comes with its own dressing room, en-suite shower room, and private balcony with seating. Four double bedrooms complete the sleeping arrangements, one of which has an additional en-suite shower room. The main bathroom is particularly spacious, with a free-standing bath, large walk-in shower, and elevated views across the surrounding countryside.

Outside, landscaped gardens wrap around the house, with mature planting carefully arranged to create a good degree of privacy. Children have their own bark-covered play area, while the raised decking gives adults a comfortable spot to fire up the BBQ and sit out with a drink. Electric gates secure the entrance, and there is private parking for three to four cars.
