Embrace tranquillity in the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park, staying in this large, family-friendly holiday home close to the Coverdale village of Melmerby. A lesser-known dale, Coverdale neighbours Wensleydale and offers a vast selection of incredible walks and wonderful cycling routes. The market town of Hawes is just 1.5 miles away, home to the world-famous creamery, the Dales Countryside Museum and several fantastic walks along the banks of the River Ure (1 mile). Continue along the river to discover beauty spots including Cotter Force (2 miles) and Aysgarth Falls (9.5 miles). Younger visitors will adore the weird and wonderful attraction of the Forbidden Corner, just a short drive away (17.5 miles) on the outskirts of Leyburn (16 miles). A little further on, the market town of Richmond (23 miles) boasts ancient streets lined with shops and pubs, ideal for exploring on a mild afternoon.

This stunning barn conversion has been lovingly updated while retaining plenty of its original features, including rustic stone walls and exposed beams stretching through the tall, vaulted ceilings. The two-storey abode is spaciously laid out, allowing everyone plenty of room to unwind. Enter and step into the open-plan ground floor. The snug features a Smart TV, a sound system and plenty of books and games to enjoy, alongside a multi-fuel stove that creates a warm and cosy atmosphere on cooler days. The dining area is centred around a beautiful oak trestle table with seating for eight, while the well-equipped kitchen offers plenty of space for rustling up celebratory dinners and picnic lunches. Completing the ground floor is a cloakroom with a WC. Upstairs, you'll find the main living space and games room beneath a beamed ceiling, featuring another multi-fuel stove, a large wall-mounted Smart TV and a pool table. There are also five spacious and comfortable bedrooms, ensuring a restful night's sleep for every guest. The sleeping arrangements comprise one king-size bedroom, two doubles and two singles, served by two family bathrooms, one of which features a decadent roll-top bath and a separate shower.

Take in the far-reaching views across Coverdale from the outdoor spaces surrounding the property, enclosed by dry stone walls and vibrant green fields.
