Experience the countryside and coast of East Riding of Yorkshire from this cottage just outside Bridlington. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom retreat is just under 3 miles from the centre of the bustling seaside town and its sandy beaches. With an enclosed garden, it is ideal for couples or small families wishing to bring their four-legged friend along to join in the fun.

Enter via the kitchen where you can unpack the delicious fresh Yorkshire produce you have bought and put the kettle on to make a cup of tea to enjoy with a slice of lemony Bridlington cake. Carry everything through to the welcoming lounge/diner, where you can decide whether to pull a chair out from under the table or sink back into the plump leather sofa. Listen to the radio or pick up the remote control to the Smart TV to find something interesting to stream. There is a handy WC downstairs. Climb the carpeted stairs up to the first floor. Here you will find a lovely double bedroom and a comfortable twin. The family bathroom, where you can choose whether to have a quick shower or a long soak in the tub, is also up here. Soak up the sunshine out in the enclosed, lawned garden. Dine at the table and take in the rural views. There is parking for two cars at this cottage.

Stride out along the Headland Way from Bridlington. The 7-mile stretch of coastal path takes you to Flamborough Head and North Landing and from there you can take a bus back to Bridlington. What a lovely cottage. We had a fantastic time as it was so close to places to visit. The beds were comfortable, it was warm and everything was there that we needed. What else do you need. The road at times us busy but nothing too much. A fantastic base and we will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay at bumblebee cottage. The little front garden is ideal for the dog. Its a lovely cosy cottage to relax in. Nice little kitchen if you feel like cooking but great choice of takeaways deliver to there.

Well equipped holiday cottage with comfortable furniture and bedding. In rural location and out of the town and ideal for exploring the surrounding area. The road outside the property can be noisy and busy with heavy goods vehicles.
