We had a wonderful family Christmas at the Old School House. It was exactly what we wanted, a homely, cozy and charming property which had everything we needed. The location was perfect for enjoying winter walks in and around Robins Hood Bay and soaking up the local atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Comfortable cottage with a local pub on the doorstep. It is ideally suited for 4 adults (living room size/seating) - the shower room upstairs does not have a toilet or washbasin, and is quite cramped.

Whilst I accept that the sealed windows were advised in advance, the reality is condensation in every room and a lack of fresh air that caused both my wife and I significant problems

A lovely cottage in an ideal location just 20 minutes walk into Robin Hoods Bay, the bus also stops right outside going both to Whitby and Scarborough every 30mins or as we did back from RHB after a long day at the beach. An ample size for 6 people but Cosy enough for 2. The welcome pack was much appreciated and generous and the toiletries were lovRead moreely. The rooms were tastefully decorated and in-keeping with the age of the property. A fully equipped kitchen and warm central heating are ideal. Hide

Lovely quaint old stone house in a small typical North Yorks village, 15 minutes from Robin Hoods Bay. Very cosy evenings in with a real wood stove fire. Host left us some very considerate welcome goodies. We had a great stay here.
