The owner's description of Dairy Cottage is accurate. It is a welcoming holiday home - a sunny garden if you get the weather - a warm and comfortable bolt hole if you experience chillier days. The beach is in easy walking distance and there are sea front walks to Sandsend and Whitby and beyond.

We absolutely loved staying in this house. The house was so lovely and even with there being 7 of us there it felt so spacious. The location was good as there are shops nearby and easy enough to walk to the beach. We could have walked into Whitby but chose to drove as we had young children with us. We had everything we needed in the house. Beds werRead moree great. Right next to sneaton castle which was lovely. And the owner was so lovely and helpful. Hide

An excellent stay in a very comfortable house in a quiet area of Whitby. Within walking distance of the town - although as with most accommodation in Whitby you have to walk up a hill to get back! A superb welcome basket awaited us - a nice surprise. The house was very clean and the beds were super comfy. The garden was ideal for dogs and children Read moreas it was fully enclosed. A BBQ is included and local shops are nearby. I would certainly recommend a stay here at this lovely house. Hide

Great house and Amazing comfort It's a fair walk to the main bit of Whitby itself, the walk along the seafront was lovely however.
