Tucked away in the picturesque village of Barnoldswick, this charming two-storey cottage is ideal for families and friends who are outdoor enthusiasts looking for a relaxing holiday base from which to discover local attractions. The property is close to local amenities, while walkers will love the adventure opportunities available from the doorstep - head to Letcliffe Country Park (500 metres) to take in the breathtaking views, before returning home for an evening tipple in the peaceful, south-facing garden.

Enter this welcoming cottage, where exposed wooden beams and whitewashed walls seamlessly blend with contemporary comforts to ensure a relaxing and unforgettable stay. Downstairs, the living room is the hub of the house, where you can unwind on comfortable sofas beside the flame-effect gas fire and watch a box set on the Smart TV. At the rear of the room is the dining table with plenty of space to linger over meals. There are lovely views over the garden and stream from the stylish kitchen, which boasts all the appliances you need to cook up a storm. The property features a downstairs bathroom. Up on the first floor are the two bedrooms; one double and one twin room with views over the garden and fields beyond. Outside, the south-facing garden is a tranquil space with a small stream running through. There is a decking area with a table and chairs where you can enjoy al fresco meals with views of Ingleborough.

Head to the market town of Skipton (8 miles) to discover the shops, pubs, and restaurants on offer, or explore the medieval castle. Nidderdale National Landscape is home to the stunning Scaleber Force Waterfall (16 miles), while the Yorkshire Dales are also within easy reach - ideal for walkers and cyclists. We also recommend Haworth (14 miles), home of the Bronte sisters and beautiful walks on the Dales.

A lovely cottage, well equipped and furnished to a high standard with a secure garden for dogs. A 15 minute walk in to the town and a great location for walking the surrounding countryside.

Great place to stay, lots of walk locally and good pubs and coffee shops in the town. A good base for exploring from, in easy distance of Ribblehead, Malham etc. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable.

Lovely and cosy place to stay. Garden was great for the dog. Can imagine its lovely in summer to sit outside and listen to the stream at the side of the house. The cottage has everything you need for your stay. Lovely local walks and Barnoldswick is worth visiting. Good local shops and bars with very friendly staff. Great location and close to SkipRead moreton and only an hours drive from Lytham. Hide

Lovely cottage in a great location. Very clean with a well equipped kitchen. Welcome pack was a nice addition. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

A very comfy and well equipped cottage. We saw deer and newly born calves with their mums in the field next to us. We slept very well in the superking bed with good quality bed linen, enjoyed sitting outside by the stream and cooking in the well equipped kitchen, watched telly with the lovely gas fire on later on in the evening. Bathroom and kitcheRead moren were both recently renovated. Our dog enjoyed all the lovely walks too . Plenty of places to go for a day out close by. We had a lovely week! Hide
